Thai Inside: Dirksenstrasse, Berlin, Germany
We stumbled across Thai Inside at the end of a long evening avoiding the tourist ristorantes and supposedlytraditional German eateries. Though there were no tables free on the peaceful cobbled street outside, the restaurant and staff were enticing enough to persuade us to stay and try a table inside.
It’s ornately decorated inside with muted colours and an array of artefacts and pictures; good conversation starters some of them too. We also noticed the staff speaking Thai, which is always a good sign in any foreign restaurant. The menu consists of a couple of set menu choices, starter platters, salads, soups, different meat dishes, vegetarian choices and whole noodle or rice dishes.
