one of the greatest artists in street photography history would have turned 104 today. hcb was mostly known for his vision of “the decisive moment” – which nowadays basically only has a meaning outside the digital mass production (and post-production) world.
as a (more and more) analog photographer though, “the decisive moment” became a constant maxim in the back of my mind – in terms of “wait for”.
