That quote pretty much sums up movie # 5 for me:
This is the 1981 film, starring Sally Field and Paul Newman, about a Miami Journalist who gets caught in the middle of an investigation for the missing Longshoreman: Joey Diaz. The son of a crooked bootlegger, Michael Gallagher (Newman) is suspected of being involved with the assumed murder. Also stars Bob Balaban, Josef Sommer and Melinda Dillon.
The main point of the movie is think before you speak…or write a story. Megan Carter (Field), the reporter, seemed blinded by getting news out and didn’t seem very professional in my opinion. Maybe research a little further, before typing something up!
There’s a scene, where Newman gets so furious with her, so disgusted that I was glued to the screen. He was nominated for an Academy Award for his performance.
